Previously, funds for the Zionist regime’s Iron Dome until December 3, 2021 were removed from the Government Funding Bill (RUU) on the initiative of a number of members of Parliament from the Democratic Party. Those who support the abolition of aid include MPs Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, all three of whom are known to be progressives in the Democratic Party.

In addition to the three women politicians, the abolition of funding for Zionist defense weapons was also supported by members of Parliament Ayanna Pressley, Jamaal Bowman, Cori Bush, and Betty McCollum. They are also known as part of the Democratic Party’s progressive squad.
The voice of opposition to the Zionist regime of Israel has caused a wave of uproar in the Republican Party which is indeed pro-Zionist and also in the Democratic Party itself.
After aid for the Zionist Iron Dome was removed from the Government Funding Bill last Tuesday, Democrats are now introducing a separate bill that includes $1 billion in funding for Israel’s Iron Dome defense system.
“While this funding would normally be included in year-end spending packages, we are advancing this bill now to demonstrate Congress’ bipartisan commitment to Israel’s security as part of a Middle East with lasting peace,” said US House Budget Appropriation Chair Rosa DeLauro, who introduced the bill, said in a statement, as quoted Reuters, Thursday (23/9/2021).
He insisted that America’s commitment to Israel’s security remains steadfast interceptor used to protect Israel from attacks is our legal and moral responsibility.”
While previously funding for the Iron Dome was removed from the Government Bill, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer announced a separate bill for the defense system would be brought to a vote during the week.
