At least Man United was recorded to be able to release six shots on goal from 27 kicks that occurred during 90 minutes. However, in fact none of the opportunities were successfully converted into a goal.
Man United’s front trio, namely Jesse Lingard, Martial and Jadon Sancho failed to do its job very well. The Red Devils, who seemed to have difficulty scoring goals, turned out to be really frustrating for Solskjaer.
Solskjaer was disappointed to see Man United who had failed to take advantage of the 27 opportunities that had been created. He also felt Man United were too slow to start the game, so West Ham quickly took advantage of it and scored in the ninth minute through the action of Manuel Lanzini.
