Beautiful tennis player The 18-year-old Briton, with a Romanian father and Chinese mother, took the sport by storm on Saturday with his record-breaking US Open Grand Slam win. He scooped the champion prize of £1.8 million or around Rp35 billion.
A long career to claim further Grand Slams will be worth the £100 million prize pool. Advertisers’ dream can beat Roger Federer’s ten-year £215 million sponsorship deal with fashion brand Uniqlo.
Other ties, such as the disputed Tiffany deal in China, could attract £20 million a year. That investment could later lead to Emma, who earned an A-level in economics and toured the New York Stock Exchange.
“Visiting a trading exchange is the only place on my brand list that I have to check before leaving. My parents were both in finance and I definitely wanted to know more about the business side,” says Emma Raducanu.

Several sportsmen – including Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods – have amassed a fortune exceeding £1 billion but Emma will be the first woman. He founded his first limited company, Harbor 6, last year. Her new application was filed within hours of her US Open win by British lawyer Anthony Brierley.
Emma, also pictured with Olympic diver Tom Daley, could play at next month’s Transylvania Open in Cluj, Romania — and visit her grandmother in Bucharest.
