Users only need to look for the “handphone” icon for voice calls and the “camera” icon for video calls in individual chats in Gmail. Although the feature still brings users to Google Meet, users don’t have to open Google Meet first to make calls.

4. Suggested replies.
One of the new features that many people may not be aware of is this feature. When a user is stuck and doesn’t know what to write an email reply to, this feature can be an ideal benefit to try. At the bottom of an email, Google may suggest various texts and ask for your response to the email. For example, if someone makes a suggestion or delays instructions in an email, you might see a response like this: “Sounds good, thanks!” “Sounds good!” or “Sounds like a plan!”
Well, if you click on one, you will start a draft email with the selected text. And for the convenience of its users, Gmail still provides the freedom to be able to edit the message as desired.
5. Nudges.
If you have an email that hasn’t been replied to in a few days, and Google’s algorithm thinks the email needs a response, then you might see it move to the top of your inbox with a quick reminder to reply or follow up on the message. This is a new way of Gmail reminders that many users will be able to take advantage of.
To continue to provide convenience for users, Gmail also provides the freedom to turn off this feature if users feel disturbed. This can be done by going to Settings and you will find Nudges with its own section under the General tab. Even users can also enable/disable emails to “reply to” and “follow up” separately.
6. Tunda Email (email snooze).
This feature was created with the aim of helping users who do not have enough time to write satisfactory replies. This Snooze email is located in the row of your inbox which serves to delay receiving emails until the next day. Later Google will recommend some time, or you can choose the date and time yourself.
After you select the date and time, Google will remove the email from your Inbox and send it back at the specified date and time. If you are worried about these emails, you can still access them by clicking Snoozed in the left column.
7. Protect the most sensitive emails and documents.

When you activate this feature known as “Confidential Mode”, you will be able to protect your important files or documents. All you need to do is click on the lock and clock icon in the bottom row of your new message. When enabled, this Confidential Mode will prohibit the recipient of the message from forwarding the email, copy/pasting the content of the email, downloading any attachments, or printing anything in the email.
Along with this feature, you’ll also see an option for an “SMS passcode.” If you choose to enable this feature, you will be able to enter the recipient’s phone number and send a unique, randomly generated passcode. The recipient will be asked to enter the passcode to access the contents of your email.
