Who wants to be disturbed while at work or busy doing chores? Maybe you don’t know about this feature. This feature serves to avoid unwanted distractions while working.
You can use shortcuts to hide visual clutter on the Ribbon. Press Ctrl + F1 to toggle the Ribbon out of view. Tweak it by clicking the Ribbon Display Options and selecting Auto-hide the Ribbon which is a small arrow next to the Minimize button at the top.
2. Read without distractions.
When you want to focus on understanding a topic, of course, you want your reading to be uninterrupted. This feature is easy to use and can be used in Word from version 2013 onwards (Word 2010 is also available). Not many know that Microsoft Word uses Microsoft Translator to handle all translations. Use the Translate feature from the Review tab. You can translate words or sentences. You can even translate entire documents and display them in separate Word documents.
Later, the Translator tab will appear on the right and you can select and change the language. Use this sidebar to highlight each word and explore its full meaning.
7. Insert a chart.
If you want to include an Excel chart in your document, you don’t have to leave Word. To do this, click Insert and select Chart. This will open a mini Excel view where you can edit or import your data. You can immediately close the Excel window when you’re done because your data will be presented as a chart in Word.
At the top of the Word window, the Chart Tools tab gives you complete control over the design and appearance of your chart. So no need to launch Excel manually.
