Spectators can watch Dubai’s iconic landmarks lit up in the colors of the Saudi flag between 8pm and 9pm in a special projection to mark the bond between the two Gulf nations, followed by a special performance of the Saudi National Anthem by the Dubai Fountain.
UAE leaders have also sent a congratulatory message to King Salman | from Saudi Arabia and the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to mark Royal National Day.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Ruler of Dubai, posted a video on Twitter depicting the Gate Building at the Dubai International Financial Center lit up with the flags of the two countries and images of the leaders.
“Saudi National Day every year is a precious opportunity for all of us. An opportunity where we renew brotherhood and build love and continue towards a better and beautiful future of two nations united by ambition that knows no bounds,” he wrote as quoted by Al Arabiya, Wednesday (22/9/2021).

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, also sent a message of solidarity on Twitter.
“Congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, my brother the Crown Prince, and the Saudis on the 91st National Day. Our two countries stand as one and we celebrate all your achievements. We look forward to a bright future together, “he wrote.
Across the emirate, electronic billboards also radiate a message of friendship between the two countries.
