Although no longer coached by Mario Gomez, Robert Alberts did not take the strength of Borneo FC lightly. Borneo FC’s 1-1 draw against Barito Putera in the last match was not an easy benchmark to beat.
“No, I think Borneo will continue to play by fighting,” said Robert.

According to the man from the Netherlands, the departure of Mario Gomez and his assistants will not completely change the game of Borneo FC. Without them, Borneo FC will not automatically appear bad against Persib.
On the other hand, by being handled by caretaker Ahmad Amiruddin, the Borneo FC squad could appear more enthusiastic. Because, the players want to get the caretaker’s attention so they can get a lasting place in the core team.
“I think the fact that the entire coaching staff (resigned), not just one head coach left the club, sometimes makes players want to show their quality in front of a new coach,” said Robert.
