MotoGP: Quartararo wants Dovizioso to make a Yamaha motorcycle as fast as a Ducati

MISANO – Monster Energy Yamaha racer, Fabio Quartararo was very enthusiastic when he heard that Andrea Dovizioso had joined Petronas Yamaha SRT. He hopes that Dovizioso’s presence can make Yamaha motorbikes have the same speed as Ducati in the event MotoGP .

Quartararo’s words were conveyed because he knew very well Dovizioso was very familiar with Ducati’s Desmosedici motorcycle. Having defended Ducati from 2013 to 2020, of course, Dovizioso knows the contents of the motorbike based in Borgo Panigale, Italy.

So far, Ducati is still known as a motorbike that has strength in terms of speed when crossing a straight track. The advantages possessed by Ducati made Quartararo envious.

Moreover, recently Quartararo failed to win a race at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, on 19 September 2021 due to losing to the speed of the Ducati motorcycle.

Quartararo who could only finish as runner-up at the San Marino GP. The reason, he lost to Francesco Bagnaia who rode the Desmosedici GP 21 motorbike.

Quartararo seems envious of the Ducati’s speed and hopes to match it. That’s why when he learned that Dovizioso had joined the team bearing the tuning fork logo, he immediately felt happy.

The French racer hopes that Dovizioso can divulge all the secrets owned by Ducati. However, the rider nicknamed El Diablo hopes that the Yamaha chassis will be maintained because he is comfortable with the current conditions.

“I like Dovi as a racer and as a person. He has a lot of experience with Ducati, so I hope he can bring all the information from Ducati to Yamaha,” said Quartararo, quoting from Speedweek.
