League 1: Persib Bandung Dizzy, Mohammed Rashid Called Palestine for a Month

BANDUNG – Persib Bandung may lose midfielder Mohammed Rashid in the event League 1 2021/2022 about a month. He had to leave Indonesia because he was called back to Palestine by the Palestinian Football Federation (PFA).

In Palestine, Rashid is scheduled to attend a training camp (TC). In addition, he will compete in the 2021 Arab Cup at the end of November. According to the schedule received by Persib, Rashid was asked to join the Palestinian national team from 17 November to 8 December 2021.

Persib announced the call for Rashid through its official statement on Tuesday (21/9/2021). “The Palestinian Football Federation (PFA) calls Persib midfielder Mohammed Bassim Ahmed Rashid to join the National Team from 17 November to 8 December 2021,”

The summons was stated in a letter submitted by the PFA dated September 15, 2021 and signed by the Secretary General of the PFA, Firas Abu Hilal.

The PFA hopes that Rashid can join the Palestinian national team so that he can first undergo the training camp program which will be held in Egypt.

The program is part of the preparations for the Palestinian National Team in welcoming the 2021 Arab Cup, in Qatar on November 28, 2021.

For Persib, calling Rashid certainly proud. Because, it proves that he has high quality. In fact, after playing in Indonesia, the player who has collected two goals in Liga 1 2021/2022 is still being eyed by the French national team.

However, on the other hand, this call will also harm Persib. Because, the team nicknamed Maung Bandung relies heavily on his ability in midfield.
