Now to confirm Reno6 as one of the gaming smartphones, Oppo this time collaborated with the newest Idol group Arena of Valor (AOV), WaVe. This is Oppo’s fourth collaboration with AOV after starting in 2017 with the F3 Plus device then the F5 and in 2020 with the Reno5 and A74 4G.
“We promise a special collaboration between AOV and Reno6 which will be well received by Ofans and AOV gamers in Indonesia,” said Aryo Meidianto A, PR Manager of OPPO Indonesia.
Previously, Oppo had also started a collaboration with AOV at the AOV Star League (ASL) B Series event which had started its competition since early last September. Now, Oppo and AOV are collaborating through AOV’s newest Idol Group, WaVe will soon make its first debut.
Before WaVe was formed, the four AOV girls went through a selection process titled AOV ID4L 2020 which was attended by a total of 26 candidates. This audition took place on October 21, 2020, and each Challengers were asked to vote to choose the 8 best candidates.
Based on the results of the voting, Sinestrea, Diao Chan, Liliana, and Yena were elected as WaVe members after getting the highest votes among the other candidates.
